Laura D asked: I want to impress my live-in boyfriend and cook him something good. (the last time I tried to cook for him was a disaster and he hasn’t let me cook since) I don’t really know any recipes or good meals though because I grew up in a single parent home and my mom worked all the time so we never really had family dinners because she never had time to cook. I pretty much had macaroni, chicken on the george foreman grill, grilled cheese, cereal, ramen soup, pb&j, or some variation of the previously mentioned foods every day of my life growing up.
Another problem with cooking is that we are both pretty picky.
Recipes can’t have any of these in it:
eggs
any beans but kidney beans
spicy things
spaghetti
alfredo
ham
pork chops
vegetables other than corn on the cob, mashed potatoes, and sundried tomatoes
steak
and I’m so sick of chinese, pizza, and BBQ because that’s all we’ve been having lately.
PLEASE give me some good recipes. =D

This is a great grilling meal. We make Flank Steak with an awesome marinade, a tomato salad, easy and healthy fries with a great gilled pineapple desert. You’ll love this easy and great tasting meal.

jamesgal1077 asked: My 20 year old large charcoal barbecue has given up the ghost. Seems that most people prefer charcoal grilling (as I do) but there is nothing decent on the market. I have hunted high and low for a nice new modern one but to no avail. It seems that the only charcoal barbecues on sale nowadays are tabletops or hibachis. I live in Canada but am quite prepared to buy from the US if necessary.

Searcher asked: I’m looking for a recipe that will not require wine, lemon, cayenne pepper or red wine vinegar.
We have garlic, butter, and skewers.
Any good recipes you can recommend.
Also what other foods would you recommend with the shrimp?

Jeff asked: Hello. My birthday was last weekend and I got a three- jet propane grill for my main present. I’ve already used it to cook some burgers and dogs for my party guests, but I also got two racks of baby back pork ribs to cook.
Does anyone have any grilling recipes for this particular cut of meat that would taste especially good when prepared on a gas grill? Don’t spare the details on things like marinades, spices, etc. I look forward to your suggestions.
