This will work on a grill or in the Broiler. It is simple and fast. I serve it with rice.
Grilled Shrimp and Lemon Kebabs
24 medium shrimp, shells on, deveined
2 lemons, cut into small wedges
3 yellow squash or zucchini, ends trimmed
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon kosher salt
4 sprigs fresh basil
16 bamboo skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes
Place the shrimp and lemon wedges on 8 skewers, alternating them. Halve the squash or zucchini lengthwise, then cut them into 1-inch-thick slices. Divide the squash among the remaining 8 skewers. (If you don’t have skewers, place the individual ingredients on a baking sheet.) Place the skewers on a foil-lined baking sheet. Brush the kebabs with the oil and season with the salt. Broil, turning once, until the shrimp are cooked through, 3 to 4 minutes total. Transfer the shrimp-and-lemon skewers to a platter. Continue to broil the squash until tender, 3 to 4 minutes more. Serve the shrimp and squash with the basil, torn into pieces if desired.

I usually just put some garlic, olive oil and cayenne. . .It’s actually what I had for dinner tonight. . .I do shrimp TONS of different ways. . .You can even use a dash of Zesty Italian (I know it sounds weird) and lightly rub it on during the grilling.

i made these prawns in a restaurant all the time to rave reviews: heat a pan and give it a shot of non stick cooking spray add in dried red chile flakes, prawns, and some fresh lime juice, steam till they are nice and orange 3 mins the finishing touch in the restaurant was tequila but you might not want to do that.

I’ve posted this one before but it is SIMPLE and delicious.
Peel and devein your shrimp and marinate them in teriyaki (the thin/watery kind) for 30 minutes to an hour
remove the leaves from rosemary branches, leaving a few on the end, and place the leaves in the teriyaki marinade.
Soak the stripped branches in water for the same amount of time you marinate the shrimp.
Sharpen the end of the stripped branches and thread the shrimp onto the rosemary skewer. if you like, alternate lemon slices with the shrimp. You can also alternate mushrooms, onion pieces, and bell pepper chunks.
sprinkle with cajun seasoning.
Grill until done

Marinate the shrimp in a few tablespoons of lemon juice and about 1/3-1/2 cup of olive oil. While grilling sprinkle fresh or dried thyme leaves on the shrimp. Also, throw herbs under the shrimp, straight into the fire, its very delicious and aromatic… thank Mike Salmon from The Next Food Network Star for the idea:) ive used his idea once or twice and my grilled food taste great

Buy a no fat italian dressing so you don’t have to cut up all those tiny veggies. To this add the juice of one large lemon and some red pepper flakes. You can marinate the shrimp for up to 30 minutes in this.
