How To Grill Salmon
AliM asked:

I have a recipe for salmon that envolves red wine vinegar, soy sauce & a few other things. it says to grill the salmon while basting it with the red wine mix, but I want to marinade it for at least an hour instead, and then grill it. or will it taste funny if i let the salmon soak up the red wine & soy sauce fo too long?
thanks in advance!*

What’s your favourite marinade recipe for beef or pork? Something with ingredients mostly on hand for someone who cooks fairly often?

Here’s mine (so far), since I’m all for sharing :)
Apple Juice Marinade (For Chicken Or Pork)
Yield: 2 Cups

Ingredients
1 cup apple juice
1/2 c soy sauce
1/2 c honey
4 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 tsp. ground ginger

Combine all ingredients. Marinade meat all day or over night.
Excellent for grilled pork chops.
